The feature film is a black comedy scripted by Miguel Barros based on the French best seller On est toujours trop bon avec les femmes written by Raymond Queneau. A story with a different approach in which important topics are treated with lightheartedness through satire, melancholy and humor. SYNOPSIS Remedios Buendía defends her homeland and will fight for it above all. This fateful day in the autumn of ’45, a group of maquis on the run had the bad idea of taking over the post office where Remedios, excited, tries on her wedding dress. Today will be the day in which Remedios will demonstrate how far she can go defending her values. And no one can stop it. Not even this battalion of rebels with smoking rifles and raised fists. We Treat Women Too Well is a co-production with France led by Ficcion Producciones together with Noodles Production and has the support of Xunta de Galicia, TVG, RTVE and Prime Video. For the filming of We treat women too well, Ficcion Producciones has obtained aid for the development and promotion of audiovisual filming that favors the economic recovery of the sector under the protection of the HUB Program of the Galician creative industry financed entirely by the FEDER funds within the REACT-EU axis of the FEDER Galicia 2014-2020 operational program as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
